昨年11月15日に21歳という若さで死去したラッパーLil Peep(リル・ピープ)と、マシュマロの覆面をしたDJ/プロデューサーのMarshmello(マシュメロ)がコラボした未発表曲「Spotlight」がリリースされた！！！
二人がコラボレーションした作品についてはリル・ピープが亡くなった翌日の朝にマシュメロがツイッターにて明かしていた。

しかしマシュメロはこの曲については”リル・ピープの母親が勧めるまではリリースするつもりはなかった”とツイッターにて説明している。

今回リリースされた曲の他に、リル・ピープがMakonnen(マッコンネン)やCharli XCX(チャーリーXCX)らとコラボした未発表曲もあるとの事なので今後リリースされるかもしれない。
